Gateway: It refers to the point (port, airport or frontier).

General Cargo: Dry cargo packaged in volumes. It may be transported loose, palletized or unitized in a container.

Goods: The cargo transported or to be transported, from which, in maritime law, it is excluded live animals and cargo stowed on the deck without authorization by the shipper in the Bill of Landing of Shipment.

Gross weight: Weight without deductions. i.e. including the packaging (or enclosure) plus the content, or also the vehicle plus the cargo.
